ALA Publishing
The ALA Publishing web portal will be launched in late 2007. African Leadership Academy
Publishing will produce and deliver original, innovative content to support learning objectives in
leadership, entrepreneurship, and African studies. The ALA Publishing web portal will form a
comprehensive library from which teachers at African Leadership Academy and around the world can
draw materials for their courses and collaborate.
The first ALA Publishing Case Study, “Wanja Michuki and the Highland Tea Company,” was
published in 2006. It is an entrepreneurship case study about a Kenyan woman who creates a premium,
fair trade tea brand to bring Kenyan black teas to the global market.
